Much better than seeing dead people—seeing stories everywhere is not so scary as it is overwhelming. There are story ideas jotted down everywhere—on scraps of paper, calendar entries, sticky notes, emails to myself, voice memos, and texts. Some of my story ideas go back so far, they no longer hold relevance. In the past year I have gotten organized about saving those ideas. Since the creation of digital notebooks—specifically Goodnotes App (I love you Goodnotes)—jotting down story ideas has become so organized and convenient, I carry them all with me at once. Whether I see a story idea from something discussed at lunch with coworkers, want to know more about a landmark or a site seen along a drive, or get inspiration from the many ramblings of my loquacious son**, there is no doubt that stories are everywhere.
Join me on my adventures. Through this blog, I’ll pen life into stories I hear, see and feel—help bring understanding to the wonderings I entertain, and engage with anyone willing to read them.
